Can you give a Tuesday late afternoon or evening weekly, once a fortnight or monthly? We're looking for volunteers who would like to help with preparing ingredients, cooking, welcoming attendees and taking donations, serving the meal, or washing up and cleaning away for a free community meal in Lenton.

In return we can offer, free access to the gym and swimming pool at the Lenton Centre, great company, training, something fun to do on a Tuesday evening, and full support. You can give as much or as little time as you want to. The meal is cooked and served at the Thomas helwys Baptist church in Lenton.

We do not expect you to be Masterchefs! This is good, wholesome, home style cooking and training will be provided. However, if you do have existing catering or cooking skills we'd love to make use of these! A positive, friendly, non-judgmental and flexible personality is ultimately what matters. Our volunteers are a mixture of local residents and students and cover a whole range of ages and ethnicities. We'd love it if you could fit into the team. If you like cooking, meeting people, and making a difference to local lives this could be the role for you.
