For the last 25 years we’ve opened our doors and hearts to children and young people in the East Midlands with life-limiting conditions, and the people who love them most. As we celebrate our 25th year as the only hospice of its kind in the East Midlands, we need your help to keep brightening short lives.
About your role
Volunteer at the shop:
Located throughout the East Midlands our shops provide vital funds for the hospice, and without our amazing team of volunteers, we couldn’t keep them open.
Become part of the fantastic team and help us with exciting roles such as serving customers, sorting and preparing stock and assisting with creative in-store and window displays
Volunteer at the hospice:
Volunteering at the hospice can be a humbling and inspiring experience, with a variety of roles available including; recpetion and admin, gardening, housekeeping catering and maintenance.
Volunteer at a fundraising event:
At events we are always looking for amazing people, like you, to volunteer. With so many roles available, there really is something for everyone!
Whether you’re able to give a couple of hours a day, a week or a month we’d love to you to join our team of volunteers.

Please note the shop trades on two flows with the restroom facilities on the upper floor. Volunteers with mobility issues may experience difficulty accessing these areas.
Volunteering a little of your time will give you a lot back, you’ll also be making a huge difference to the children, young people and families who rely on Rainbows.
Volunteering with rainbows is a great chance to make new friends, gain new skills and build your confidence all whilst supporting a great cause.
