Nottingham Mencap is an independent local voluntary organisation dedicated fully to the service of people with learning disabilities and their families who live in the Nottingham area.

Gettaway Club Volunteer – Gettaway Club is a relaxed, fun group for adults with disabilities to socialise and meet new people. For the first hour, everyone plays a group game such as Family Fortunes, and for the second hour, there is a disco and karaoke. There are sometimes themed nights, and trips out to the panto. Volunteers are needed to get stuck in and help members of staff make sure everyone is having a great time!

M8's Club - M8's is an exciting, vibrant youth club for young people with learning disabilities aged 12 to 19 years, giving them the opportunity to play games, socialise, learn new skills and go on day trips. Mencap want enthusiastic, willing volunteers to get involved and support members of staff deliver sessions.

Gettaway Club – Runs on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 7pm – 9pm. Volunteers are needed on one evening a week from 6:30pm to around 9:30pm.

M8s Club – Volunteers are needed on at least one Saturday a month from 10am – 4pm.
