The Hope House Youth Café is a youth club which offer a range of activities to adolescent aged between 9 and 18 years old that include pool, table tennis, table football, boxing, football, cricket, basketball, video games and a weekly challenge task.

Hope House are looking for volunteers that are able to interact with young people, have a passion for helping and support the local youth and are looking to engage with the wider community.  Good interpersonal skills would be helpful as well as enjoying working as part of a team.

3 hours per session for six months (Wednesday evenings)

There is a 2 hour induction session covering what they expect of the volunteers and what volunteers can expect of them.  This will be outside of the Youth Club.

1) Register your interest and Ella will give you the next steps on how to get involved with this opportunity.
2)Email Sue and she will invite you to visit the youth club for you to have a look around and meet the team.
3) Sue would then arrange for you to complete the application form, references would be checked and a DBS check would be done.

Building up of new skills, or enhancing existing skills, working with young people from differing backgrounds.
