Headway's next induction session will take place in September/October for anyone interested in volunteering in the new term :)

Headway Nottingham is a charity providing support and long term rehabilitation for people who have sustained a brain injury and for their carers. They run a day centre where the service users gather to take part in workshops, activities, sports and trips out into the community; all the while interacting and getting to know others who have similar problems after brain injury.

Headway Nottingham wants volunteers to help staff support people with brain injuries. This could be assisting in one of their workshops such as therapeutic art, creative writing, mood management, cognitive workshop, planning and organisation, understanding brain injury and more.

3 hours a week for at least 3 months. You cannot volunteer at the weekend or in the evening. You can go and have a look around before you commit to volunteering.

If you click on 'Register Your Interest' we will then contact you with the relevant information and before you know it, you will be well on your way to volunteering with Headway Nottingham.

Headway will provide you with full training

Travel covered by Headway but must discussed beforehand
