Want to volunteer and become part of an amazing team in their race to end waste?

Foodprint is a social enterprise set up by Nottingham University students in the hope of reducing food waste and food deprivation in the local community, by providing a sustainable food source.

As a volunteer you will get to interact with our fantastic customers, restock our shelves, process transactions at the till and take any surplus food to a local farm. It is a unique opportunity to be in a growing social enterprise and make a real impact.

Through volunteering for Foodprint, volunteers will gain the opportunity to develop their interpersonal and communication skills by interacting with people form diverse backgrounds in potentially vulnerable situations, therefore also developing empathy. This will also give volunteers invaluable experience working in a retail setting.

Look out for additional events, such as harvesting our community garden in order to sell fresh and locally grown produce in our shop!

Usual shifts:

Friday, Saturday and Monday 8.30am – 1pm and 1pm – 5.30pm
