The aim of the Sports buddy Scheme is to provide non-disabled and disabled students who find it difficult to make friends and access sport with the opportunity to get involved, get fit and have some fun.
About your role
Your role as a sports buddy will involve helping to get students engaged in sport and recreational activities - helping to make a real difference to their University experience.
You will also be required to complete the Sports Leaders Level 2 course, as part of your training (19th and 20th November) at David Ross Sports Village. There will also be opportunities to complete coaching and other developmental courses, on request.
We will be looking at a commitment of between two to three hours per week and will need each buddy to complete and submit a monthly feedback form.
