More about the Student Volunteer Centre

We’re here to help you make the most of your time at University and help you get involved with something you love doing!

Last year we supported over 4,000 volunteers volunteers in a wide range of activities. The SVC supports over 100 projects with more than 60 different charities based in and around Nottingham, including one off events and activities on campus and in the local community.

As well as local indepentent charities, we also support societies and student-led projects with their volunteering projects. So if you're interested in doing some volunteering that isn't currently available, we can support you in creating your own society or student-led project!

We make volunteering as flexible as possible around your timetables and it is a great way to meet new people, develop skills and have fun!
