SB Squash Society is a friendly, social and driven society with a wide range of players. We welcome all abilities of squash players, from those who have never picked up a racket to those who might consider themselves pros!
We train every Tuesday - 7:30pm - 9:45pm at SB Sports centre Squash courts on a drop-in basis. You can stay for as long (or as little!) as you like. Training session normally start with warm up games and fitness, then drills focussing on different skill sets within the squash game, and finishing on mini matches. This can seem daunting to beginners, however training is based on your ability and potential, not on other players.
Later this year we may be getting in a coach to give some official training sessions.
As well as training, there is plenty of time to socialise and mee people of a similar level to meet up and play with outside of official squash meetups
Playing squash is a great way to get to know other people on campus, and members are constantly posting on our group FB to see if anyone is around to play. So whether you are looking to increase your fitness, play competitive squash or simply want to get involved in a sport, then come join us on a Tuesday evening. All new faces are welcome at any point during the year.
