Rambling & Hiking

If you're a fan of the great outdoors and would love to explore the UK's beautiful countryside, we're the club for you and we look forward to meeting you!

RAMSOC, the University of Nottingham Rambling and Hiking Club, is one of the university's largest, friendliest and most active clubs, offering a different walking event and social every week. Check out the calendar on the link to the left to see what we're up to this year. Escape term-time pressures with Sunday walks in the stunning Peak District, and explore further afield on our weekends away. No specialist equipment or experience required.

Rambling & Hiking Ramsoc Eyam Walk
25th February 9am - 6pm
We are off to the area around Eyam this weekend. This is a brilliant area of the White Peak area of the Peaks, giving access to the Edges and Eyam Moor. Eyam is known as the plague village and evidence of this is still to be found in the land around.
