Welcome to the University of Nottingham Netball Club!

The University of Nottingham Netball Club is one of the biggest clubs at UoN with over 60 girls playing weekly in 6 British University College Sports (BUCS) teams as well as 1 large development squad playing in the IMS League and NDM league, participating in regular friendly fixtures against other local unis. We also have Engage sessions for those who have never played netball before, don't want to commit to regular training or those who just want to play for fun! The ability of the members ranges from International and Super League standard to those wishing to improve their skills in order to compete in BUCS.

The UoN Netball club aims to bring together girls from a variety of areas and backgrounds, all with a common interest for the sport, and allow them to play competively throughout the year. We believe joining netball creates a new opportunity for girls to come together and build friendships to further improve our University experiences.

Additional activities

Alongside playing Netball, the club offers a range of socials from big nights out to girly nights in. Socials are held most weeks and even if there isn't one planned teams will often arrange one between themselves especially if they're coming off the back of a big win! This not only helps to bring the club closer together but also helps to unite with other sports teams as we often join up with other clubs. As well as socials we have fundraising events throughout the year and a tour, which in the past has taken us to Spain, Dublin, Edinburgh and South Africa.

By joining our Netball Club you not only get the chance to play a great game at a high level and represent your University you more notably get the opportunity to forge great friendships with lasting bonds. Alumni Weekend sees the return of past players and its continued popularity shows just how much the club means to so many people. Being a part of the Netball Club will enhance your University experience and be a great addition to University life.
