University of Nottingham Sport: Kayak

Welcome to one of the most successful student kayaking clubs in the country! We welcome everyone; whether you’ve just picked up a paddle for the first time or already on the GB team. No matter what your experience, you will find us a welcoming and friendly club.

Weekly Pool Sessions:

The club has two weekly pool sessions where you will learn the essential skills of the sport: from paddling in a straight line to the perfect roll. These sessions take place at the David Ross Sports Village swimming pool every:

Wednesday 9:30pm - 10:30pm

Thursdays 8:30pm - 9:30pm

Regular Trips and Competitions:

Throughout the year we run a number of trips to some of the best whitewater in the UK. These trips are aimed at paddlers of all abilities. Each year we also participate in several competitions and are proud to be the University of Nottingham’s most successful BUCS club, by number of titles held.
