The University of Nottingham Women's Football and Futsal Club is unique because our programme intergrates two sports into one - football and futsal. This creates a dynamic, professional and fun environment for female students to enjoy both football and futsal at a high standard.
Playing football at the University of Nottingham is a great way to improve skills with acsess to a high level of coaching and facilites. By being involved with UONWFC it gives you the opportunity to maintain a great level of fitness and play an ever growing sport but most importantly still continue to have fun and enjoy all the other benefits of being apart of a large and welcoming club at university.

Our taster session will be taking place at the Jubilee Campus Sports Centre Friday 27th September 5 - 7pm.
And we will be hosting trials at the David Ross Sports Village for the 2019/2020 season on Monday 30th September 5:00 - 7:00pm.
The taster session and trials are free-of-charge and everyone is welcome to join in, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never played before!
We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes early so that we can start at the stated times. Please bring suitable footwear, the surface will be 3G at the David Ross Sports Village, so avoid blades and metal studs. Don't forget your shin pads, a drink, and any other personal items e.g. tape to cover piercings or inhalers.

Membership fees for our club for the 19/20 academic year are £105, but freshers will have to pay an additional £35 for socks and shorts which you will get to keep.
IMS membership fee is £25 and this includes training once a week and playing in our friendly IMS league.
Please note that UoN sports and fitness membership is also required to be part of our club.
Early Bird membership is available until 6th October and for £229 includes the following:
- Access to the new £40m David Ross Sports Village
- Three fully-equipped fitness suites
- Over 100 weekly group exercise classes
- 25m swimming pool
- Indoor sports halls and squash courts
- Climbing wall

Football Training takes place twice a week with the club separated into the 1st team, 2nd team, and 3rd team, each of which have their own coach. We also train for futsal once a week.
We also have 5 Futsal teams, with a spread of the club members over these teams.
Our Engage Futsal sessions run on Thursdays 6-8pm.
We have 3 BUCS teams competing in the Midland's Conference on Wednesday afternoons and an IMS league on Sundays.
BUCS home matches take place at Highfields or on the 3G at David Ross Sports Village.

The Annual Varsity Series against Nottingham Trent is played at Notts County's Meadow Lane.
We encourage all club members to get involved in our Futsal team who were runners-up in the National Futsal League Final at St. George's Park 2017/2018 season. Training for futsal takes place throughout the year - separate from our 11-a-side teams.
