Cricket (Mens)

The University of Nottingham Cricket Club is one of the most thriving clubs, competitively and socially, at the University. There are four teams competing in British University Sports Association (BUSA) with the 1st XI in Midlands 1A league. Over the past two seasons, we have over a 90% win rate - including several promotions.

We train throughout the winter, using the top class facilities at The David Ross Sports Village. Coaching is also provided as part of your membership fee, as are match fees. This year strength and conditioning sessions will be introduced for our 1st XI.

The club has one of the most anticipated varsity matches against Nottingham Trent. This is usually the decider for the whole series and is a big event in the summer term. This year we are aiming to make it three consecutive victories.

Socially, we are an extremely active club, running socials throughout the year.

All new members must trial and the details of which can be found on our Uni Page,

- Please come and visit us at the Welcome Fair to sign up for trials. If you have your own kit please bring it to trials.
