Either play for the Softball team, Baseball team or both!

We have also recently been granted our own pitch as well by the university so we have a dedicated location to play on

The University of Nottingham Softball and Baseball club caters for the full range of abilities, with an emphasis on coaching as well as playing competitively. We pride ourselves on our warm, welcoming nature and increasingly intense style of play. We can train you from a beginner to an A team player in no time! The Softball team has been long established at the University of Nottingham and has been going from strength to strength. We are always pushing to bring in new players to help boost our skills and abilites.

The Softball team has also recently had a name change to the Arrows and we plan to use this as the foundations to push the team forward into greatness.

In 2014 the team won the National University Softball Championships beating Loughborough in a thrilling final as well as competing well in the local league and other tournaments throughout the year.

The team plays regularly throughout the year against local teams, with indoor matches being played during the winter and then a shift to outdoor matches in the summer. So we can provide plenty of game time for those who want to be playing a lot of sport.

There are also a number of tournaments such as; Labor day, Firstball and the National Championships. There is plenty of opportunity for everyone to play matches throughout the year.

All are welcome!

Think you can hit a home run? Think you can pitch a curve ball?

The Baseball team has been very successful, finishing in the top three at the National University Baseball Championships for several years running.

The Baseball, also known as the Theives is always looking for new players and is becoming increasingly competitive and we'd like to have you new players coming along to help push the team towards its potential.

The team plays regular matches against other universities as well as local teams and the game is increasing in popularity throughout the UK. Combining a relaxed atmosphere with consistent success in national tournaments has meant the University of Nottingham baseball club will cater to whatever level of ability you are. Most people who joined have never played before, but we'll quickly get you up to speed and you'll be crushing the ball in no time!

As a club we are also supporting no Homophobia in sports and warmly welcome all those from the LGBT community.

We look forward to meeting you all and feel free to get in contact with us before you arrive in September for more information!
