Welcome to the University of Nottingham Snooker and Pool Club!


We are a friendly, inclusive club, welcoming new members of all abilities. Whether you want to play for fun or train to compete on a national level, you will make great friends here. Over the years, several of the club's members have represented the university at district, national and international level. This makes us one of the most successful university cue sports clubs in the country!

This year, we are hoping to take more women’s teams to compete in the BUCS-UPC 8-Ball Pool Championships held in Great YarmouthBoth men's and women's teams have always been successful and we want you to be part of it!


Wednesday -- 6pm-midnight -- Pool -- Riley's Sports Bar

Thursday -- 6pm-10pm -- Snooker -- David Ross Sports Village

Sunday -- 1pm-5pm -- Snooker & Pool -- Riley's Sports Bar

Membership is only £15 for the whole year! We’re one of the cheapest sports clubs in the university.

Membership gives you:

•  Riley’s membership

•  Unlimited access to English and American pool tables at Riley’s sports bar (Wednesday evenings, provided a beverage is bought on entry)

•  Access to cue sport coaching

•  A chance to compete at national and international level

•  The possibility of representing the university at BUCS 8-ball, 9-ball pool or snooker competitions

Snooker and Pool BUCS-UPC Eight-ball Pool Championships 2017-2018
21st February 1pm - 25th February 6pm
Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth
The finest student players from all parts of the UK will compete in both team and individual competitions on behalf of their universities, at the country’s most prestigious English eight-ball pool arena.
