Handball is the second fastest  indoor sport after Ice Hockey and is widely played in many European countries. It has also been an Olympic sport since 1936, with Great Britain making their first appearance at London 2012.

University of Nottingham Handball Club is open and actively recruiting men and women of all levels to join a successful, vibrant and highly sociable club.  Regular events ranging from bowling to meals out are dotted throughout a year which also includes regular tournament-level match play, friendly games both home and away.  Beginners are welcome; as are experienced players - and the opportunity to train together on University Park ensures that skills and friendships develop quickly.

With a large mix of both British and International players, Handball is a great opportunity to meet new people and keep fit in a fun environment.  There's also regular opportunity to represent the University at a competitive level, so why not come and give it a go?

Check out the European Handball Federation website where you can watch hundreds of handball matches and highlights.

Training will at the University's new £40M David Ross Sports Village on University Park Campus*
