Open to all Sociology, Criminology and Social Policy students, as well as anyone who wants to join!

Joining SocSoc gives great opportunities throughout the year to get together with like-minded people on our many socials including the annual summer ball and river boat cruise, a great way to meet new course friends (always useful for someone to remind you when that essay's due!)

In addition to these big events, membership also includes invitations to careers talks from specialist speakers (very important if you’re not sure about what happens after your degree or you’d like to learn more about a particular sector), careers workshops with top graduate employers, regular socials so you can get to know your coursemates better plus lots of more laid back events such as film screenings, book sales, revision tea breaks and charity acoustic nights.

Membership costs £5 for the whole year and by joining you will receive discounts on all events over the year and priority over tickets for events with limited numbers. You also get notified first of tickets going on sale and any other events or information. As well as this we will bring you great discounts on stuff like subject hoodies and second hand book sales giving you the chance to get your hands on all the books you need for your subject without having to go begging to the bank of mum and dad!
