Vice President: Molly Rhodes
Hey all! I'm Molly and I've been on PhysSoc committee as Trip Sec for 2 years, and I'm now your VP! I'm taking second year for the third attempt this year (it's complicated), so I'm an old timer around these parts. My current role is general organisation and admin of the society, but I will be sticking my nose in to every social possible, so I hope to become a familar face to you all!
If you need to contact me, be it for PhysSoc matters, course matters, or just general student matters, message me on Facebook or email me at email@example.com. I'm always here to help!
General Sec: Hollie Schneider
Hey I’m Hollie and I’ll be your Gen Sec for this year! I’m in my third year studying Physics with Astronomy and I’ll be helping keeping PhysSoc organised and maintained to its usual incredible standards with an amazing committee to help. If you have any questions about the society or uni in general feel free to drop me a message at firstname.lastname@example.org and I hope you have a great year being a part of PhysSoc! Xx
Treasurer: Roden Derveni
Hey everyone! I'm Roden, studying in my 4th year in physics! As your treasurer I will be handling all of our funds and making sure you all get the best experience possible being in PhysSoc. From meetings to counting pennies I'll be there to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Otherwise, feel free to ask me anything, anytime! I'm always up for a chat, even if I'm upside down somewhere in a club... You'll get used to the nonsense we do in PhysSoc My email address is email@example.com if you need to contact me, or, you can message me on Facebook!
Female Social Secretary: Natalie Rhodes
Hello! I’m Natalie, I’m in my 3rd year of Msc Physics and I will be your female social secretary this year.
My job is firstly to help organise Physsoc’s legendary events and secondly to help you get the most out of Physsoc. I will be here to help you meet other likeminded people and enjoy events that are suited to your tastes- be that drinking or non-drinking.
Over the course of this year you should hopefully become familiar with my face from selling you tickets in the common room to helping you find your way around Nottingham during our evenings out.
Have any ideas for events or any concerns? Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or add me on Facebook ‘Natalie Rhodes’.
I hope you enjoy a Physsoc filled year!
Male Social Secretary: Seb Coleman
Hi I’m Seb, a third year physics student, and your male social secretary for this academic year. Right from the start of my time at UoN, the community aspect within physics really stuck out to me. Our course and society is an amazing platform for making many strong friendships, which is important, because 14 hours in the library trying to meet coursework deadlines is ever so slightly nicer when shared.
It’s my job to create the events that bring us all together and strengthen the physsoc community. These may involve donning your galaxy print on one of our legendary bar crawls, or diving into ball pits at play-zone. Whatever it is that you want to do with physsoc, I’ll try my best to see it happen so that we can all have the best year possible. I want everybody to feel like they have a say in how the next year plays out, so if you have any suggestions for something you want to do, or any questions at all, feel free to message me on facebook (Seb Coleman) or drop me an email (email@example.com).
Trip Secretary: Liv Buckingham
Hey guys! I'm Liv and I'll be your Trip Sec this year. I'm in my third year studying straight physics, and when I'm not doing that, I’ll be planning the December PhysSoc Trip and the Summer CERN Trip (both of which you should all totally go on)! If you have any questions about PhysSoc, or anything really, you're more than welcome to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or just shoot me a message on Facebook.
Sports Secretary: Sunny Luhar
Hey guys! I’m Sunny and have just moved into my second year at Nottingham. I’ll be the person who manages all the Physsoc sports teams and ensuring they run smoothly. We currently have Men’s Football, Men’s rugby, Mixed hockey, mixed basketball and Women’s netball. There will be tournaments between societies throughout the year. The Physsoc sports teams are completely free to join and participate in. If there is anything I can help you out with or if you want to play another sport, message me on Facebook on one of the Physsoc pages or email me at email@example.com and I’ll try my best to help you out!
Publicity Secretary: John Leyden

Be sure to come and say hi, after all, this could be you next year! As your cameraman you can expect loads of photos from me, which will to be posted on the Facebook page after events. There will also be a few promotional videos which will be posted on the PhysSoc page so check them out and subscribe to make sure you don’t miss anything!
