Who are we?
The Omani Students Society in Nottingham is an official society certified by the Omani Cultural Attaché in London. The society is run by a student administration under the supervision of the University of Nottingham. The society aims to represent The Sultanate of Oman beyond its borders, provide its services to the Omani students and represent them in all forums and activities.
You are more than welcome to join us and all are welcome “Omanis and non-Omanis” who are interested in Oman; its culture and events.
We aim to provide an active environment to help enhance the skills of the Omani student and express his national and social identity and create cohesion and harmony among the members of the society.
Create cohesion and harmony between the members of society.
Highlight the achievements of the Omani student.
Support the talented youth financially, morally and informally.
Enhance and portray the Omani student’s identity through his participation in the different events and activities as well as develop his leadership and managerial skills.
Provide all means of support and guidance to the current students or the students that are willing to study in the city of Nottingham specifically or the UK generally.
Organise and hold events, activities, programs and meetings that are scientific, cultural, and literal to include all the categories present in the city.
Introduce the Sultanate of Oman to the Nottingham community, show our culture, traditions, history, and even food through traditional and social events.
