Korean Society

Welcome to University of Nottingham Korean Society

University of Nottingham Korean Society was first established in 2001 to provide support for fellow Korean students studying at the University of Nottingham.

However, over the years, through the development of our universities exchange programmes to leading institutes in Korea, our society has rapidly grown in members of all ethnic backgrounds. As a student society promoting cultural awareness, we aim to provide a platform for all students at University of Nottingham to visualise and experience Korean culture in various aspects. Allowing each individual to learn and share their love for the Korean culture. We welcome you to share and pursue your interests with fellow members who may have a similar passion to you.

With increasing awareness of our society, we believe that it is our responsibility to actively encourage friendly communications between all of our members.

Therefore, our aim to provide cross-cultural experiences that enhance friendship bonds among our society members through recreational and social events. Examples of our past successful socials are Running Man Game Day, Sogaeting Social, Chimaek Social and Korean Language Classes.

We everyone to join our society and become a member of Korean Society! ~
