Here is a rough weekly timetable of what we do every week!
Globe is a weekly meeting for internationals and non-internationals to meet, learn about each others cultures and enjoy tea and cake!
It takes place on the Top floor of the Barn in the postgraduate space starting at 7pm. If you wish to hear more about it, please speak to Thomas McBride, our international coordinator, or Val and John from the Chaplaincy. Search “SB Globe Cafe” to join the Facebook group or page of the same name.
Rooted is our main weekly meeting where we come together to study the bible and explore Christianity. We believe that the Bible tells an incredible true story of God's love for us and we want everyone in SB to have the opportunity to read, discover and explore that story, whether you've been a Christian all your life or you've never picked up a Bible. There will be numerous events and chances throughout the year to get to know people in our CU and find out more
It takes place on the B floor of the barn in the Open Prayer Room at 7:30pm. We'd love to see you there, speak to Sarah Clarke or Nathanael Kane, our two hall group leaders, for more info.
We think its really important to get plugged into a church which suits you.
The majority of SBCU attend Sutton Bonington Baptist Church, which is located a short walk away in Sutton Bonington Village, we also currently have members who attend Beeston Free church and St Nics. We are more than happy to link you with other churches and accompany you there if you so wish.
