Living on Campus
On University Park -
The chefs will meet on a regular basis with any student in their hall who has a specific dietary need & discuss alternative menu options with them to meet these needs.
From September 2013 all products served in hall dining rooms are to be accompanied by a complete allergen list!
On Jubilee Campus -
My experience -
I lived on Jubilee Campus (Southwell Hall) my first year fully catered and found eating there surprisingly easy. All the caterering workers were friendly and helpful - particularly in the Atrium where I had my morning and evening meals. You simply have to ask which food provided is gluten free and there is usually an option which is, and if there isn't the chef will have made a seperate gluten free meal. I was also provided with my own bread and cereal for the mornings, kept in a seperate place behind the counter.
If you have any questions about being gluten free on Jubilee Campus do not hesistate to contact me
