Postgraduate Student Network
The Postgraduate Students Network is the representative body for all postgraduate students at the University of Nottingham. All postgraduates are automatically members, there is no need to sign up, and you will automatically receive our updates to your university email.
Throughout the year, the Postgraduate Student Network plans events, activities, sports, conferences and Balls to help make your time here at Nottingham as rewarding as possible. We try to make these as inclusive as possible- if you have any ideas, send them round and we’ll try our best to plan them!
All this fun is planned by the Postgraduate Network Committee, which meets regularly to put together an exciting calendar of events.
Also to represent you, are Postgraduate education representatives, there is one for taught and one for research. They are your representatives in the Education Network who you can go to regarding problems with your course. Many courses also have Course Reps. Check out the Education Network for more information.
Check out the tabs on the left for more info about the Exec Committee and the events we’re having this term- we look forward to seeing you and it’s easy to just jump into whatever you can come to! The best place to keep up to date with our events is the like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/uonpostgrads/ or follow Yolanda on Twitter @UoNSU_Postgrad
If you have any questions about any part of being a postgraduate at the University of Nottingham, your full time Postgraduate Officer is available to answer any queries you could possibly have. She is based in the SU Officer Office above the Welcome Zone on C Floor of Portland building and is usually available from 9 to 5. If you want to meet with her or ask her about anything, email Yolanda at firstname.lastname@example.org or message her on facebook Yolanda King SU and she’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
