Welcome to the International Students' Network
Who We Are
The International Students' Network (ISN) is an association of the Students' Union (SU) run by international students for international students. The chair of the ISN is International Students' Officer Denis Lelin, who works alongside an elected committee. Anyone classified as an Overseas or EU student by the university is automatically a member of the Network!
The SU also runs 'Global Buddies', a support scheme, matching current student mentors with new Overseas or EU students to help them settle in.
We are well known for our role in the Welcome Programme, as well as for holding various social events throughout the year, celebrating our cultural diversity. Besides promoting the events of all cultural and faith societies (find your perfect match here), we also host our own events, such as Christmas Dinner, International Ball and our largest annual event - International Festival Week in March.
'Global Buddies' also holds Monthly Meetups, themed social events open to all students, with a variety of fun activities and free food.
Welfare & Representation
We also have a welfare and representational role, amplifying international students' voices within the SU and university. We work to ensure equal opportunities by organising campaigns and lobbying the university.
Get in Touch
We are always looking to improve our work to fulfill students' needs. If you'd like to stay updated on social events, campaigns, volunteering, or talk to our committee, get in touch!
