The Frozen Ark is a biobanking charity, with headquarters at the University of Nottingham. There mission is to collect, preserve and conserve tissue, viable cells and DNA of animal species facing extinction. They currently hold tissues or DNA samples from more than 5000 endangered species.
They would like volunteers to run the Robin Hood half marathon on behalf of the project and help fundraise for the charity. Proceeds will help to continue to collect, preserve and freeze the DNA of endangered animals.
The half marathon takes place in Nottingham on 29 September at 9.30am.
You will also recieve your very own free Frozen Ark t-shirt for taking part!
