One off opportunity: Memory Walk at Wollaton Park

A budding volunteer guides the way!A volunteer handing out water.

Volunteering at a Memory Walk is an amazing experience. You will meet fantastic new people, be involved in the running of a huge event, and will make a vital difference in the fight against dementia.

Your role will be varied and flexible, and may include cheering on our walkers, helping marshal our routes, handing out medals, or selling merchandise and generally make sure everyone have fun as they make their way around the route. The walk is taking place at the lake in Wollaton Park, which is just a stones throw away from University Park Campus. It starts at 11am on Saturday 7 September.

Route marshalling

Positioned at key points in the route to ensure walkers are heading in the right direction, you will cheer walkers on and keep them motivated!

Event site volunteer

Interact with our walkers before and after the walk, sell our merchandise, keep the event site clean, tidy and safe.

Finish line volunteer

We need energetic volunteers to congratulate our walkers as they cross the finish line and present them with their medals and water!

Volunteers will be supported on the day and a breif induction will be given.

Register your interest now to get involved!
