One off opportunity: Culture Crawl 2019

Maggie’s Culture Crawl – Friday 20 September 2019 from 6.30pm

This event will help raise funds for Maggie’s Centre, based at City Hospital, they provide emotional, practical and social support for those suffering with cancer, as well as their families and friends. The centre costs half a million pounds to run each year, and without volunteers and fundraisers like these, it wouldn’t be possible to raise this amount.

Culture Crawl is a 6 mile walk around Nottingham with stops at some iconic venues along the way, entertainment throughout and food at two stops. Maggie's need lots of upbeat volunteers to marshal different parts of the route to direct our walkers and keep them motivated! They are expecting around 250 walkers.

They are also looking for a volunteer videographer to capture some footage on the evening, it would be great to get some case studies of individuals explaining why they're doing the walk.

The walk starts at Nottingham Lakeside Arts moving onto Wollaton Park, Wollaton Pub & Kitchen, Jubilee Campus, Lenton Methodist Church and the ending at the National Justice Museum.

Volunteers will be briefed before the event and marhsals will also be working together, so you won't be left on your own!

This is a great chance to meet new people and explore Nottingham all whilst supporting an incredible cause.

Register your interest now to get involved!
