On Monday October 3rd, the new David Ross Sports Village at University Park campus opened its doors to gym-goers for the very first time.
With a brand new 200-station fitness suite, and over 100 group exercise classes available each week at both the David Ross Sports Village, and Jubilee and Sutton Bonington campuses, there’s never been a better time to become a member of UoN sport and fitness!
The Centre will be opened in several phases with the climbing wall, sports hall, and café set to open next on October 10th.
Tours of the new David Ross Sports Village are available now, simply go to the reception and a member of UoN Sports will be happy to show you around. “Student Sport at Nottingham is constantly expanding, this year we’re entering more BUCS teams than ever, we’ve increased to 74 student sports clubs, we have a record number of IMS entries, and our greatest ever range of Engage sessions. We know more of you than ever before are wanting to be active at University and the David Ross Sports village provides the perfect home for sport and an inspiring setting for you. The 20 badminton court sports hall and the 200 station fitness suite to name but a few facilities mean more space for all of you, and facilities such as the all glass squash court will give our elite athletes the performance settings they need to excel. It’s such an exciting time to get involved in sport at UoN.
