Students' Union shops and services Christmas break opening hours

Your SU’s commercial outlets have different opening hours during the Christmas break. Take a look at when you can pop into your favourite shops, cafés and services.

Term ends: Friday 14 December

From Monday 17 December to Thursday 20 December:

Open 8am – 4pm

On Friday 21 December:

Open 8am – 3pm

Closed from Saturday 22 December – Wednesday 2 January

On Thursday 3 and Friday 4 January:

Open 8am – 4pm 

Closed Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January

From Monday 7 to Friday 11 January:

Open 8am – 4pm

Closed Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 January

Normal opening hours start again on Monday 14 January.

Ideally, all clubs and societies should send their invoices and payments as soon as possible, but please send them to your SU Finance team by the following date at the latest:

Wednesday 12 December at 4.30pm (for payment Friday 14 December – the recipient will receive payment by Tuesday 18 December)

Please make sure that you include the following information in any invoices you send for payment:

Club/Society number

Appropriate authorisation – treasurer/president and CDC/SDC if over £1,500

GL coding

If you don’t provide the above information, there’ll be a delay in processing your invoice, which may impact your event.

Expenses submitted by X365 will be paid as usual.  Any expenses submitted after 4.30pm on Thursday 20 December will be paid in the New Year.
