Following a very difficult decision it is with regret that Jess Lendon has resigned from their position as President of the University of Nottingham Students’ Union.
Jess took on the Officer role in July and has had a successful time in office, representing the student voice to the University and attending many meetings and events. After careful consideration Jess is now moving on from their role.
Jess Lendon said:
“I have come to this decision to put my mental health first and to prioritise my own wellbeing. This has been a very difficult decision, especially considering my passion and great experience within the SU over my four years here as both a student, student staff member and an Officer.”
Acting Chief Executive, David Goodacre said:
“We’re sad that Jess will not be continuing in their role, they will be greatly missed but we completely understand and respect their decision. We wish them all the success and best for the future.”
