End of term bin reminder

The Easter break is fast approaching! To make sure you leave your property in a safe and clean condition before you head off on your holidays we’ve got the following helpful information for you. It is really important to manage your waste effectively so that you can get rid of your rubbish hassle free and help maintain a clean, green and pleasant neighbourhood for all residents.

Click here to view your bin collection dates before Easter. Please only put the correct bin out at the correct time. Try and dispose of your rubbish regularly in the lead up to your holiday break so you’re not left with a big pile before you go away!

You can also sign up to the FREE bin reminder text service for a friendly nudge, direct to your phone inbox reminding you of when to put your bin out and when to bring it back in:  http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/loveyourbin

We all want to live in a clean and green Nottingham neighbourhood. To ensure this happens there are penalties for failing to carry out reasonable waste management.

Not bringing your bin back in off the street:

  • Section 46
  • Community Protection Warning
  • Community Protection Notice
  • FINE*

Waste (loose or in bin bags) in your front garden:

  • Section 215
  • Community Protection Warning
  • Community Protection Notice
  • FINE*

*Community Protection Officers will issue a fine for every person in the household. All tenants have a responsibility for the waste created and managed in their house, not just one person!
