Mooch Bar, Portland Building, University Park
Join Unicef Society's fun pub quiz and raise money for Syrian refugees. You'll entice quiz-goers into Mooch and hand out, collect and mark quiz papers, helping to make a difference to the lives of children in Syria, more than 1,000 of whom have been killed or injured since January 2018.

Volunteer to help run Foodprint, our low cost social supermarket in Sneinton. There are places working on the till, chatting with customers, and opening/closing the shop. Don't worry - we'll provide full training! Started by students at the University of Nottingham, Foodprint aims to tackle food poverty by selling surplus food from partners such as supermarkets, wholesalers and farmers at a reduced price.

Unleash your creativity and make cards for seriously ill children and their siblings. Help them feel less isolated, cheer them up and make them smile. We have everything you need and we'll even send the card for you too! And there's no need to sign up - just come along and pull up a chair.

The Helpful Bureau is a charity that works to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people. Come along to sell raffle tickets and collect prizes throughout the Stapleford community to help raise money and make a difference.
Beeston Tesco and Toton Tesco
Volunteers will be collecting spare items of food from shoppers and passing them onto Hope Nottingham, a Beeston-based community centre that offer a foodbank to local residents in food poverty. Collection days are essential as they're able to stock up their shelves ready for Christmas and help spread the word about the great work they do. Whether you've got an hour or a full day, you can really make a difference.

Raise some festive cheer in your local community and come and support Kegworth Christmas market. We need volunteers to marshal, help stall holders set up and take down, and ask guests where they've come from. Don't forget to wrap up warm!

This massive food collection is led by RAG group Karnival and Art History Soc, and is all about gathering goods for local food banks in Nottingham. You'll be part of the small teams going door to door to politely ask for non-perishable foods.
Thomas Helwys Baptist Church
Tasty Tuesdays is a weekly £1 community meal served by the community, for the community, in the heart of Lenton. It brings people together over a hot, hearty meal in a relaxed, friendly environment. Everyone is welcome, no matter where they're from or where they live - just turn up and tuck in!
SU Hub, Derby campus
Come and volunteer at this festive event and help raise funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People to continue to provide much-needed support for children and their families across the East Midlands. You'll be giving out refreshments, looking after VIPs and selling raffle tickets and Rainbows merchandise - and you might even get your hands on a mince pie too!

KiSS Soc supports the KiSS charity, which helps children in Uganda access education and equips them with the skills and knowledge they need to build a better future for themselves, their families and their communities. So give a little time and be a friendly face and help KiSS Soc collect gifts to send to these children this Christmas.
Pro Bono are hosting a drive to collect warm socks, hats, gloves and blankets for Nottingham's homeless community. Help them collect and process donations and get everything ready for distribution. You'll meet loads of other like-minded people too!
Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People is the only hospice for children in the East Midlands. It cares for children with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families. Come along to their annual fun-run and help raise much-needed funds so that Rainbows can continue their work. You'll help with registration, give out water and medals, and set up and break down the event. And there'll be plenty of other volunteers to enjoy it with!
