A race taster session consisting of a 200m swim (8 lengths) at the University Park pool followed by a 3.5km run around campus. The perfect way to put round off the 'tri-it' week and give you a taster of what multi-sport racing is all about!
At the end of our 'tri-it' week, on Monday the 9th October, is the first of four races in our Go Tri series. This event is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is interested in joining the club or just trying something new and it is open to all abilities. The Go Tri Aquathlon consists of a 200m swim (8 lengths) in the University Park swimming pool followed by a 3.5km run around the campus. Prior to the event, participants will be required to undertake a swim test to make sure they are capable of swimming the 8 lengths. Registration will open at 6pm with the first wave leaving at 7:30pm. To enter costs £5 which can either be done online or in person on the day. Following on from the race will be a social with food, drink and awards giving you the chance to talk with other participants as well as other members of the club.
