Course Deatils:

Winter Skills = £165 (15 spaces)

Winter Mountaineering = £175 (4 spaces)

Advancing your understanding and technical skills in the winter mountains to enjoying the steeper peaks and gullies in winter conditions. This course requires previous winter skills experience, with a well grounded understanding of winter mountain equipment and basic rope work skills, in addition to a high level of physical fitness.

Further details about the courses can be found on the guides website: https://www.talisman-activities.co.uk/scottish-winter-skills

The trip fee includes: the subsidised course cost, three nights accommodation in a well equipped bunkhouse, all travel and transport over the weekend, and two evening meals. We will spend the three nights at Glenbeg Bunkhouse, a cosy, converted farmhouse situated in the north of the Cairngorm National Park.

Like all of our trips, Mountaineering Club Membership is required to come on the Winter Skills trip.

Due to the popularity and the limited number of spaces on this course, we will be taking the details of everyone who is interested at the sign ups and then the committee will allocate spaces by picking names out of a hat.

Once names have been pulled out of the hat, members who have been allocated a space will be contacted. These people will then have 24 hours to pay a £50 deposit (details of how will be provided), and if this is not done we will unfountnatley have to give your space to a resereve. The full trip fee balance will need to be paid by the end of December, extact date tbc.
