Further Information

A 5K fun run around campus in order to raise awareness and money for
Broxtowe Women's Project, a charity which aims to stop domestic abuse and
protect the vulnerable. The run will be 2:30pm-3:30pm, beginning and ending on
the Downs where there'll be a few tables for people to sign-up, donate or find out
more about the charity by speaking to members of the Recreational Running
Society committee, the Feminist Society committee and Broxtowe Women's
Project workers . Marshals will be positioned around the course so no one gets
lost. Many of the marshals will be first aid trained. Tickets are £5 and will be
available online but can also be bought on the day. Please ask family and friends
to sponsor you too if they're able.
