Come along to the Nottingham University Business School Doc Soc winter dinner! For good food, drink and a chance for PhD students in the Business School to meet, socialize and relax.
The Doctoral Society is honoured to invite all of its active members to the annual Winter Dinner, which this year will be held on Tuesday 3rd December at Bill's Restaurant, 15 Queen St, Nottingham NG1 2BL.
For members of the Doctoral Society, this event will have a recovery fee of only £10.00 which includes a 3-course meal and one drink. You are allowed to invite your supervisors, families or partners over for this celebration, just let them know they will need to pay a full price meal at £29.95. The Children’s menu holds the same items as the adult’s menu, but the portions are smaller at £14.98.
We will need to confirm places early, so we ask that we have your confirmation (and the amount of people you will be bringing along) by midday November the 11th.
While purchasing your ticket(s) you will have the opportunity to select your menu. The complementary drink and seating arrangements will be made on the spot so we can celebrate while meeting new people.
We hope this will be the perfect chance for PhD students in the Business School to meet, socialise, relax and celebrate, after all the hard work this year!

Smoked Salmon, with beetroot salad, horseradish cream cheese & beetroot dressing
Smoked Chicken Terrine, with winter spiced chutney & toasted sourdough
Pancetta Wrapped Turkey Breast, with thyme & apricot stuffing, roast potatoes, brussel sprouts, a piggy in a blanket & red wine gravy
Pan Friend Sea Bass, with prosecco & chive hollandaise, wild garlic rosti & lon-stem broccoli
Beef, Bacon and Brie Burger, with fig & cranberry sauce, baby gem lettuce, mayonnaise, sesame bun & fries
Chargrilled Sirloin Steak, with red wine & rosemary sauce
Pumpkin, Fig and Chestnut Roast, with roast potatoes, roasted vegetables, brussel sprouts & a rich vegetable soup (vegan - contains nuts)
Christmas Sticky Toffee Pudding, with custard (vegetarian - contains nuts)
Chocolate Orange Mousse, with a crunchy chocolate crumb (vegetarian)
