I represent all Postgraduate students within the Students’ Union and to the University. I also run the Postgraduate Students’ Association alongside the PGSA Executive Committee.

International Students' Officer

The ISO represents all International Students within the Students’ Union and to the University.

The ISU also runs the International Students’ Bureau alongside the ISB Executive Committee.

Elliott Reed
LGBT Officer

I represent all students who self-identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Questioning, Asexual and/or Unsure/Undecided or who self-defines as experiencing homophobia, biphobia and / or transphobia for not fitting into heteronormative society.

I also run the LGBT Network Committee.

BME Officer
Amina Vora

The BME Officer is responsible for representing all students of African, Asian, Arab, Caribbean heritage within the SU. This definition was recently extended to include Jewish and other students who consider themselves as being part of an ethnic minority.

The role is also one of the representatives at the National Black Students’ Conference and Chairs the Black and Ethnic Minority Students’ Network.

Women’s Officer

I represent all students who define as women within the Students’ Union and to the University.

I also run the Women’s Newtork Committee.

Disabled Students’ Officer

The DSO represent all the students who define themselves as disabled within the Students’ Union and to the University.

The DSO also runs the Disabled Students’ Network Committee.

Mature Students’ Officer
Alastair Anderson

The Mature Students' Officer represent all students over the age of 21, when starting an undergraduate course or over 25 for postgraduate course, who define themselves as Mature Students within the Students’ Union and to the University. 

The Mature Students Officer also runs the Mature Students’ Network Committee.
