Finance & Services

Sam Le Pard
Finance & Services Officer

sufso@nottingham.ac.uk

Hello! My job is to oversee all the finances of the SU, both its commercial services – the shops, Mooch, and the Print Shop – and the union’s activities. I’m here offering help and advice for any individual or student group.

My role demands that I develop our income streams and guarantee that every aspect of the Union gets a fair cut of the budget.

I’ve been active in the SU since I arrived in 2008 and I relished the chance of being part of the Exec. As a third year I felt I had enough experiences and ambition to make a real change in the way the Students’ Union runs and what it offers its members

I’d love to tackle some of the services the Union provides and find a balance between making money and providing quality.

The Students’ Union is going through some massive changes, and amongst everything some continuity is vital. Not only do I aim to help facilitate the changes through streamlining and centralising some financial aspects of the union, but I want to ensure that I am consistently available to students not only in my role as Finance Officer, but as a member of the Exec.
