Elizabeth “egg” Goddard – Education Officer

My job is to provide academic representation and ensure you get the very most out of your degree course. I do this by:

• Running the Education Network (made up of myself, the Faculty Coordinators and School / Course Reps), which allows you to let the Students’ Union know what you think about your academic experience and what you'd like us to campaign on to change.
• Attending lots of University meetings to represent students and raise issues which have been brought up through the Education Network.
• Campaigning on academic issues.

My priorities for this year include:

• Ensuring the University’s review of Personal Tutors actually delivers an improved system
• Creating a module feedback website
• Putting the Education Network central in the Students’ Union Reform
• Focusing on employability skills
• Improving academic equal opportunities
