Open to anyone with an interest in sociology membership to this group gives great oppertunities throughout the year to get together with like-minded people on our many socials including our annual summer ball and river boat cruise, a great way to meet new course friends (always useful for someone to remind you when that essay's due!)
By becoming a member you will receive discounts on all events over the year and priority over tickets for events with limited numbers. You also get notified first of tickets going on sale and any other events or information. As well as this we will bring you great discounts on stuff like subject hoodies and second hand book sales giving you the chance to get your hands on all the books you need for your subject without having to go begging to the bank of mum and dad!
As Sociology and Social Policy students ourselves, we know exactly what it's like to be a fresher, study the modules and have experienced a great deal of what Nottingham has to offer. Therefore we are happy to offer any advice that may help you and have a positive affect your experiences at University
