The Postgraduate Students Association
The Postgraduate Students Association (PGSA) is the representative body for all postgraduate students at the University of Nottingham. It is central to the PG Community in Nottingham and on our International Campuses in Ningbo, China and Malaysia.
As soon as you get your acceptance letter to study at the University as a PG you are automatically a member of the PGSA. If you are new to Nottingham University, congratulations, it is a fantatic place to study and we hope you have a great time whilst you are here. If you are a continuing your studies, welcome back!
Throughout the year, the PGSA plans trips, nights out, activities, pub quizzes, sports socials and much, much more to help make your time here at Nottingham as rewarding as possible.
The PGSA does a lot of things but one of our main roles is representation. We are here to make sure that PGs are represented throughout the University and the Students' Union and make sure that your voice is always heard. If you haven't already found out about the Students' Union, of which the PGSA is the postgraduate part, check out their website at www.su.nottingham.ac.uk.
The PGSA represents you on campus and in the community through a fulltime Postgraduate Officer and a committee of volunteers made up of officers, hall reps and postgraduate faculty coordinators. Have a look around to find out more about what we're doing for you.
We hope you find all the information that you need about the PGSA and being a PG student here on our website. If there are things that you think we are missing, would like more information on or just have a question please email Morgan on supgofficer@nottingham.ac.uk and she will get back to you as quick as possible.
