About Us

As an association within the Students' Union our membership automatically includes all students who identity themselves as lesbian, gay, bisexual or trans. We receive a grant which means that we don't need to charge a membership fee or even keep a list of members. This means that any involvement you have with UoNLGBT can be confidential if you require it to be so.

In addition to our main website (see above), we also have two Facebook groups:

- An open Facebook group which can be found at http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2202967728.

- A private Facebook group to which access will be granted on request (e-mail us!). Unlike the above, this group will not be displayed in your Facebook profile tabs and the members list will not be visible to people outside the group.

Pre-Valentines Bowling, Saturday 13th

I noticed that last semester we seemed to be lacking in quiet social events, and it seems that the eve of Valentines Day is a perfect date for one (pun not intended). So we're going to Megabowl this Saturday. Meeting of course on the Portland steps at 7pm, we're gonna walk the short distance to the bowling alley (bring money!).

Whether you're single, a couple, or whatever, please come. It doesn't matter if you're absolutely crap at bowling. So am I.
