Nottingham University's 'New Theatre' achieved great success this past easter when out of 12 shows chosen from across Britain to perform at the prestigious National Student Drama Festival, 4 were chosen from The New Theatre's season - 'Bluebird' by Simon Stephens, 'Orphans' by Dennis Kelly, 'This Wide Night' by Chloe Moss and 'After the End' by Dennis Kelly.
The New Theatre was a hit at the festival, gaining increasing national recognition, and came away with a number of awards, including 'Judge's awards for acting' and 'design' awards.
