What this involves :
Micro Volunteering can be even more fun with a group of friends. Get everyone to bring something to drink or eat, put on some tunes and get stuck in!

Where will you hold it?

Your house is a great place for small groups of people, but if you’re getting lots of your society or course friends involved you might need somewhere a bit bigger. Why not try somewhere like Crocus Café or speak to your JCR Committee about using your Hall. Or if you’re interested in the Conker Tree opportunity why not organise a picnic in your local park.

What will you need?

We can send a party pack with materials for up to 5 people to take part. For larger groups you could ask people to make a donation towards any materials you need. We can also send you as many How to Sheets as you would like. Otherwise you can very easily get the equipment yourself, some of the materials can be recycled from things hanging around your house and you can buy some of the items from the SU shop. If you are going to ask people to donate towards these costs let them know beforehand.

Would you like to run one of these activities with school children, the elderly or teenagers? We can tell you which local community groups and schools would LOVE to hear from you. We can give you their contact details, advice on how to set this up and recruit more students to help you!
