The Den is the Union’s very own nightclub, open 6 days a week hosting club nights, society events and one-off parties. Situated in the Portland Building and featuring nights playing Indie, Electro, Dance, Hip Hop, Drum and Bass, plus the standard cheesy student anthems across the week. There is something for everyone’s tastes, plus comedy events and even late-night bingo!

We’ve had a refurbishment over the summer and to celebrate we’re giving you an offer that’s only valid for 2009 Freshers. For just £20 you can buy a “Den Annual Pass” giving you free entry to every single night we’re open**, plus Q-Jump before 10.30pm, so you can chill-out at home for a bit longer, then breeze straight past your mates on those sell-out nights. That’s a potential saving of £460 on door-entry over the year and you can’t put a price on that Q-Jump when it’s raining outside!
