The New Theatre produces all of its own shows, as well as hosting the occassional external production.   Potential directors propose their play to the Committee, and then auditions are organised centrally.

New Theatre members can audition for as many plays as they like, but can only be in one play a semester. Once the plays have been cast at the Casting Meeting, the individual productions become quite autonomous.

New Theatre offers a great deal to anyone interested in any aspect of staging a production. If you enjoy acting, singing, dancing, stage management, technical management, costume making or make-up work then this is your opportunity to present a successful show for capacity audiences.
