Interested in playing netball with other postgraduates? Whether you play regularly and wish to be a part of the team, or are a bit rusty and keen to get back into it, come along to training and give it a try. It’s a great chance to get involved in university sport, improve your fitness, meet other postgrads, and of course, have fun. We will be training on a Thursday this year (7-8pm) at the University Park Sports hall and you are welcome to come along to training even if you don’t want to play in the matches. We will also have socials throughout the year (hopefully to celebrate our success!). We play matches in the intramural league on a Saturday afternoon. The new season will start on 15th October 2009. All matches are on the netball courts at Highfields. Every week I send an email to everyone on the mailing list to remind them about match times and training. If you would like to be added to the mailing list please email emjb1978@yahoo.co.uk It doesn’t matter what standard you are, or even if you have never played before and want to give it a go, please come along. Training is open to those who want to play matches, and also anyone who wants to just train on a Thursday. Everyone is welcome and everyone will get a game. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
