The Climbing Club currently has around 100 members. These include those who climb only at the indoor wall, through to those who can be difficult to track down due to their sustained absences from Nottingham! At the start of the academic year the club runs 4 Freshers' Meets to the Peak District and these aim to allow new members to experience what the club is all about and what to expect from future trips. The club also has regular weekend meets throughout the year to North Wales, The Lakes, Pembroke, Yorkshire and a week long trips to Cornwall and abroad. Membership fees are currently £11 including affiliation to the BMC and use of our equipment.
The Club also has a busy social calendar with a trip to the pub once a week and other events such as Freshers party, Christmas dinner, BBQs and joint socials with other clubs.
