For 2012/13, the club has some great plans. Track day driving at Donnington, off road driving, quad bikes, and kart racing are all on offer! These events run every 3-4 weeks. There is also potential for spectator events, such as Touring Cars. Check out the Facebook page (link at the bottom) for pictures!
For this year, there is also a brand new NU Motorsport club karting championship running, open to all ability levels within the club. Round 1 is at Stretton Circuit on November 28th.
Plus, NU Motorsport's top drivers will have the chance of representing the University of Nottingham in the British University Karting Championship, competing against other universities from around the UK on large outdoor karting circuits. This competitive championship uses Club100 karts capable of 5-60mph in 4.5s - this racing really does get the adrenalin pumping. Anyone interested will have the opportunity to attend a test day and potentially become a part of one of our race teams – no prior experience required!
